The Boise State Broncos are my one true love … after my wife, of course. And after my family and friends. Oh, and alongside the New England Patriots.

Regardless, the Broncos are way up there, and I pay tribute to them on a daily basis at One Bronco Nation Under God (OBNUG). The Bronco fan site is the online voice of Boise State football fans, but it is really just a place for me to express my feelings and opinions on the team. I recently joined SB Nation, so my site is now affiliated with the largest sports blogging network on the Internet. I’m responsible for a lot of the content on the site, unless you have a problem with something, in which case I have very little to do with the content.

The site started in February 2008, and it has received a lot of accolades from places such as Sporting News, AOL FanHouse, and my mother. If you want a taste, I’d recommend one of these posts:

Before Bleacher Report hit it big, I helped them get there by providing content and managing community for their up-and-coming sports site. The user-submitted style fit my strengths well, and my writing proved to be entertaining and thought-provoking for their readers. During my days as a poor college student, I moonlighted as a sports reporter for one of the largest newspapers in the Seattle Metro area. My beat was high school football, and my Doc Martens and I walked it like a professional. In addition to high school sports, I also had the opportunity to do a feature on two University of Washington sports teams. Here is a link to that story:

One of my most rewarding jobs is editing copy for HM Magazine. The bimonthly magazine is one of the leading publications for Christian music and has been in business for over 20 years. I started working for HM over a year ago, and I enjoy the opportunity to flex my obsessive compulsive and slightly anal retentive muscles in a forum other than by my lonesome with a local newspaper and a red pen. It is a privilege for me to be able to blog for Lending Club, the web’s premier person-to-person lending institution. I submit a blog post once per week on general money topics, and they humor me by posting my drivel mostly as is.
