My Photoshop skills might be growing, but the artwork mess I’ve created begs to differ.
When I started the task of teaching myself Photoshop, I expected things to be difficult; I just didn’t expect that three weeks into it I would still struggle with finding orange on the color palette. My goal was to create some cool designs for the Boise State football website that I run, but all I have now are strange pictures of cropped Bronco gear. And did I mention that they are all in “sepia”?
The truth of the matter is that I am getting better. The reality is that I was not very good to begin with. Yet after on-again, off-again practicing, I now have a grasp of layers, selection tools, and my personal favorite, the eraser. My work is beginning to resemble what I have in my mind, and once I figure out proper scaling or hire a professional to do so, I think the designs will look great.
I’ll post some of my work one of these days…provided I can figure out how to do so.
