“Premonition”: I never saw it coming

The wife and I have a Tuesday night tradition where we go down to the local RedBox and pick out a dollar movie.  Normally, we greatly enjoy the process, and we are pleasantly surprised by our choices.  However, last night, instead of giving us cinema at its finest, the RedBox machine threw up 90 minutes worth of maddening, faux-horror confusion.  We called it the worst movie we’ve seen in a long time.  The DVD case called it “Premonition.”

Confused?  I still am.  To get into the particulars of what went bad would be to relive a one hour conversation that I’ve already had multiple times in my head and I don’t want to ever hear again. The only way to ease the haunting discrepancies in the movie was to awash myself in HGTV programming.  At least there, everything makes sense.
